MAIN FUNCTIONS
Identify R&D opportunities with leadership and align them with company goals.
Define research projects with internal technical area teams and external partners.
Help plan budgets and coordinate teams for proposal preparation.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver R&D projects on EU and national levels on time, within budget and according to expected quality levels.
Support technical reviews, results validation and elaboration of deliverables.
Stay updated on tech trends through curiosity and self-learning to guide new project ideas and align current customer projects with research ones.
Develop and manage risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Define project communication strategy as well as dissemination activities.
Facilitate meetings among teams and external collaborators.
Represent the company at EU and national consortium events.
Report progress and issues clearly to internal teams and partners.

Job requirements
SKILLS
Project management experience in automotive, telecom or software development industry. Automotive is not a must.
Strong engineering background, ideally in telecom or computer science
Quick learner with ability to grasp complex tech concepts without deep detail.
Strong analytical and investigation skills for early-stage tech research projects.
Solid knowledge of agile methodologies.
Proficient in supporting tools for agile methodologies like JIRA, Confluence or Trello.
Desirable previous experience on development roles before moving to project management.
Desirable experience in start-up or scaling growth environments.
Collaborative and patient, able to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Skilled in managing partnerships and business relationships.
Able to prioritize and multitask under pressure in an autonomous way.
Highly detail-oriented person with a passion for being proactive in finding solutions.
Trustworthy with a strong work ethic and care for confidentiality.
Fluency in local languages and working fluency in English is a must, basic German is nice to have but not required.
