The era of software-defined vehicles has already arrived, and mobility industry is using software to drive innovation and create new business models and deliver more services to end consumers. To accelerate this vision, disruptor mobility tech companies like Technica are leading the changes in the electronics architecture that are needed by the industry, with our ability to deliver rapid prototyping hardware and software, being more critical than ever.
To develop this vision, we @Technica-Engineering built four years ago a completely new engineering team located in Barcelona area, which is working closely in contact with our company headquarters in Munich.
Technica is a product-oriented company, that continuously reinvest to stay ahead of the curve, so our interdisciplinary team composed by experts in various engineering disciplines is focused on the development of company own hardware products roadmap and cutting-edge software solutions, and we aim to deliver awesome services to our customers with our solutions for capturing and processing in-vehicle data.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to ensure they are aligned with the company objectives.
- Define the high-level product roadmap, translating it into an achievable backlog of product features.
- Detailed definition of the product features and prioritize them considering business needs and development efforts.
- Be a role mode of agile way of working and promote continuous delivery.
- Communicate with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to deeply understand the business and customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to define and review the planned features and its technical implementation.
- Define and coordinate product communication strategy as well as dissemination activities in the scope of those products.
- Generate accurate periodic reporting of progress and blocking points, through the definition and monitoring of product KPIs, to be able to communicate efficiently with the internal team and our partners.
- Collaborate with management board and engineering team leaders to identify know-how expansion opportunities through research investments, and to clearly define related activities, aligning them with objectives defined on vertical markets of interest.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies through rigorous investigation and continuous self-learning, ensuring the identification of potential new projects and aligning current project work items with their appropriate scopes.

Job requirements
SKILLS
- Experience shipping successful products, defining vision, strategy, and product roadmaps from scratch as well as managing product backlogs.
- Ability to break down complex problems into achievable tasks
- Strong engineering background (preferably telecommunications or computer science) and previous experience on development roles
- Good knowledge and application of agile methodologies.
- Good know-how of tools for product management using agile methodologies (for example Trello, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Desirable previous experience in UI/UX design and/or in front-end development.
- Desirable experience in start-up, scale-up or mid-scale growth environments.
- Desirable product management certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or any others)
- Continuous learning mindset in a technological context combined with executive synthesis skills, to quickly get a grasp on any new technological concept without needing to know deeply all details.
- Strong communication skills and proven experience on building effective working relationships with people from very different backgrounds and groups.
- Handling of multitasking activities with strong autonomous prioritization skills, without being overwhelmed for peaks of concurrent tasks.
- Highly detail-oriented person with a passion for being a proactive supplier of solutions.
- Strong work ethic and rigorous approach on managing confidential information.
- Fluency in local languages and working fluency in English is a must, basic German is nice to have but not required.
